Sneaker customizer Mache has had a hell of a run in 2012, particularly with shoes he's worked on inspired by the "NERF" Nike Kids Air Max 90 Zoom KD IV. The popular style has already been applied to the Kobe VII and LeBron 9, which was also produced in an "Un-NERF" version. Now, Mache has chosen another LeBron silhouette for a NERF makeover.
With the weather heating up, Mache decided to NERF up the recently-launched LeBron 9 Low, presumably using the Team Red/Challenge Red colorway Kids Air Max LTD as the base shoe. The majority of the upper was painted purple and treated to an iridescent effect similar to that of the actual "NERF" KD IV. Grey was used on the top part of the tongue and collar, while a spatter print wraps the heel and runs along the midsole. Lime was used for the tongue signature, laces and custom stitch on the toebox. Red works the midfoot support hardness, inner lining, Swoosh branding, Max Air bag and outsole to complete the look.
According the Mache, these will be available to order at Kids Nike Air Jordan in the very near future.
Here's another look at Kevin Durant's Kay Yow Breast Cancer Awareness Women Nike Shox R4 Nike Zoom KD IV, which also pays tribute to his late Aunt Pearl. The shoe sports a Pinkfire synthetic upper, largely helped by a unique pearl print on the tongue, around the heel and on the underside of the cross-strap. Black works Swoosh branding and KD's logo on the heel, while the famous Kay Yow ribbon is centered Kids Shoes on the tongue. These shots also give us our first clear look at the sole, which is done in pink translucent rubber.
The "Aunt Pearl" Zoom KD IV will be released at select retail locations on Kids Air Force One Saturday, May 12.

The seventh shoe in Kobe Bryant's Nike signature series has graduated to Elite status, but the standard version is still due out in a few Women Nike Air Jordan more colorways this year. Perhaps a colorway you won't see is this "Volt" sample that recently surfaced on eBay. The vibrant green hue is featured alongside black on the upper, including standout detailing on the Swoosh, logos, Shozokus, Kobe signature and inner lining. Tumbled black leather hugs the heel and is reinforced by a grey counter. Grey also works the midsole, which sits atop a white rubber outsole to complete the Women Nike Dunk SB look.

Today we get a closer look at the upcoming Nike LeBron X in Sport Bape(Bathing Ape) Grey / Strata Grey / Electric Yellow, otherwise known as the new "Canary" colorway. This great colorway features a mostly grey build, with well-placed electric yellow accents for added pop.
The Nike LeBron X "Canary will release this weekend at select Nike retailers, including Portland's Coogi Cap Compound.
